The customer is a manufacturing plant in the animal feed industry, operating a continuous automated system for packaging, transportation, warehousing, and goods dispatch.

During operations, finished packaging bags are continuously moved from the packaging area, handled by palletizing robots, transferred into warehouses, and finally loaded onto trucks for outbound delivery. Due to the high volume of goods and fast operational speed, the company needs to ensure accurate counting of packaging quantities at both warehouse inbound and outbound stages.

However, manual counting methods or reliance on disconnected operational processes can easily lead to quantity discrepancies, difficulty in verification, and product losses. Therefore, the company required a real-time automatic monitoring and counting solution to optimize operations and improve data accuracy.

SOLUTION – EYEFIRE SAFETY

To automate the packaging counting process, the factory deployed an AI Camera system integrated with real-time product recognition and counting technology at both warehouse receiving and dispatch areas.

The AI Cameras were installed directly on each transportation line to automatically count packaging bags as they passed through the camera view. In addition, the AI system could recognize and extract packaging type information to support more accurate statistics and data reconciliation.

All camera data was transmitted to a centralized software platform for real-time synchronized management.
